It took a month to leak, but ShamWow TV pitchman Vince Shlomi was arrested for allegedly battering a prostitute in Miami Beach, according to the Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Police reports obtained by the site TheSmokingGun.com say that Shlomi, famous for his fast-paced sales pitch of the super-absorbent cloth, met 26-year-old prostitute Sasha Harris at a nightclub on Feb. 7 and brought her to a hotel. He paid her $1,000 for “straight sex” and kissed her before she bit his tongue and would not let go, according to the documents.

The police report says that Shlomi then beat Harris until she released his tongue. Shlomi then ran to the hotel lobby, where security called the police, according to the Sun-Sentinel report. Shlomi was later treated at a hospital.

As for Harris, she received lacerations and facial fractures, the report says, and police recovered $930 from her purse. Photos appeared on TheSmokingGun.com that purportedly show Harris after the incident.

EARTH HOUR.......................VOTE EARTH!!!!

IT GOES DOWN TONIGHT!!! 8:30PM - 9:30PM

-quick rundown

In 2009, Earth Hour is being taken to the next level, with the goal of 1 billion people switching off their lights as part of a global vote. Unlike any election in history, it is not about what country you’re from, but instead, what planet you’re from. VOTE EARTH is a global call to action for every individual, every business, and every community. A call to stand up and take control over the future of our planet. Over 74 countries and territories have pledged their support to VOTE EARTH during Earth Hour 2009, and this number is growing everyday.

Earth Hour began in Sydney in 2007, when 2.2 million homes and businesses switched off their lights for one hour. In 2008 the message had grown into a global sustainability movement, with 50 million people switching off their lights. Global landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Rome’s Colosseum, the Sydney Opera House and the Coca Cola billboard in Times Square all stood in darkness.

Jim Jones, Trick Trick Deny Detroit Shooting Allegations

(THIS IS NOT STOLEN FROM SCOLLA'S WORD!!!!!!! loL!)

The Detroit Free Press reports Jim Jones and Trick Trick [click to read] were present during a shooting that occurred at the Detroit nightclub, Esko Lounge. Sgt. Eren Bell was quoted and named Trick Trick (government name Christian Mathis) as one of the patrons shot in the thigh at approximately 1:20 a.m. after a fight broke out inside the venue. Another unnamed club patron was reportedly shot in the left arm.

"We did speak to this individual," Bell told the Free Press. "His musical performance name is Trick Trick. I’m confirming he’s a local rapper."

Conversely, Trick Trick told at least one Detroit area radio station that the reports are false, and he neither performed nor attended any club or bar during the time of the shooting. Meanwhile Jim Jones gave Hot 97's Miss Info an ambiguous non-denial denial of the allegations.

"Shout out to Trick Trick, I hope he gets better," Jones said. "The Detroit clubs are tricky [and] they got a lot of problems out there." Jones also denied reports that he was involved and that a female associate of his was shot.

Currently no arrests have been made in the shooting incident.

Top 5: Lies Woman Tell Men (Be Honest If You Have Heard Or Said Them)

1. This is yo pussy
2. I’m on my period
3. I’m cuming
4. I don’t give head
5. He’s My Friend

via Cathryn Marie

5. “He’s My Friend“: Let’s be serious, male friends are huys that want to hit but are waiting for the right opportunity. They are waiting for a girl to get tired of their man and come running into their bed. Most of the time it never happens, especially if your nice. If there is no proof of a male being related to a girl he is put on the watch list. Once in a while a guy and girl can just be friends but I rather be skeptical of every guy.

The rest of the list is below, also feel free to leave your thoughts on the list and if you have said/heard these lies.

4.”I don’t give head“: It’s 2009 just about all girls are giving head, but a lot won’t admit to it. They don’t want to be looked at as a whore or have a reputation for giving brain. A chick will tell you she don’t get down like that and next time you see her she has a neck brace from all the head movements she been doing. So she will say this if she is just getting to know you, doesn’t like you that much or is just not in the mood. Some girls might just really not do it and will wait until marriage, but you can tell them they will need practice.

3.”‘I’m cuming“: It’s a lot harder to cum for a female than a male. So some sessions will have to get wrapped up early with some fake moans because if you not hitting it right it may never happen. Or you might just be getting some pity sex and she wants to end it quick, lol like guys care.

2.”I’m on my period“: Needs no explanation lol, YOU NOT GETTING ANY. You can try to get some dome and pray you don’t get hit with the 2,4 combo, OUCH!

1.”This is your pussy“: I can’t lie I heard this lie before and thought to myself GTFOH. It’s only yours when you in it, who knows how may guys get an easy pass for it. Even if your married the mail man might be hitting that. To be honest, females should say this is your pussy for the next few hours, night, or until a guy with better looks and more money come along. It can’t be mine cause my name ain’t on it and I don’t get a sign in sheet for everyone who enters it.

Bonus: “The Kid is Yours“(Noooooooooooooooooo)

HAPPY DILLA DAY!!!!!!!

James Dewitt Yancey (February 7, 1974 – February 10, 2006),[1] better known by his stage name J Dilla or Jay Dee, was an American record producer who emerged from the mid-1990s underground hip hop scene in Detroit, Michigan. He began his career as a member of the group Slum Village, and was also a driving force in the production trio The Ummah. Yancey started his career under the name Jay Dee (based on his initials) but used the name J Dilla from 2001 onward. Many critics believe J Dilla's work to have had a major influence on his peers[2] and that he embodied the neo soul sound, playing a defining yet understated role during the sub-genre's rise (roughly from the mid-90s to the early 2000s).

J Dilla was often dubbed "your favorite producer's favorite producer," and was highly regarded by hip hop artists and producers such as Madlib, Pete Rock, Common, Busta Rhymes, Mos Def, Pharrell, Waajeed, Karriem Riggins, Flying Lotus, 9th Wonder [3], A Tribe Called Quest, The Pharcyde, Kanye West, and ?uestlove.[1] About.com ranked J Dilla #15 on their "Top 50 Hip-Hop Producers" list.[4]

Ultimately, his death has had a significant impact on the hip hop community.[19] Besides countless tribute tracks and concerts, Dilla's death created a wealth of interest in his remaining catalogue, and, consequently, Dilla's influence on hip hop production became more apparent.[1]
Dave Chappelle gives a special dedication to J Dilla on his movie Dave Chappelle's Block Party, by stating "This film is dedicated to the life and memory of Music Producer J Dilla, aka Jay Dee (James D. Yancey)". The film focuses mostly on members of the Soulquarians, a collective of hip-hop musicians of which Yancey was also a member.
In May 2006, J Dilla's mother announced the creation of "The J Dilla Foundation'", which will work to cure lupus.[1]
J Dilla leaves behind two daughters.[20]
In February 2007, a year after his death, J Dilla posthumously received the Plug Award's Artist of the Year as well as the award for Record Producer of the Year

FREE KILPATRICK!!!!!

Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick is released this morning after serving 99 days at the Andrew C. Baird Detention Center in Detroit.

source: Detroit Free Press

Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick left jail early this morning with a new look, an apparent new appreciation for freedom, and a new high-powered lawyer who said he doesn’t have any plans to sue anybody …Yet

Emerging from a Wayne County Jail cell situated across an alley from Detroit Police headquarters, a slimmer and shaggier Kilpatrick paused in the doorway of the Andrew C. Baird Detention Center around 12:30 a.m.

As his newest attorney, Willie Gary, said Kilpatrick would have nothing to say, the 38-year-old ex-mayor looked around with a somewhat bewildered expression. Through the thick beard that replaced his formerly closely cropped whiskers, he flashed a smile. Then he plowed toward a waiting Chevy Suburban as a phalanx of large and nattily attired escorts tried to form a wall against reporters and photographers.

After a caravan of SUVs sped away, Gary told reporters Kilpatrick wanted to speak, but instead heeded his lawyer’s advice.

“He’s not bitter; he said he learned a lot. He said this has been an experience that he’ll never forget. And he thinks because of it he’ll be a better person,” Gary said. “Right now he’s just concerned about getting home to his mom, his sister and, of course, his other family.”

Although Kilpatrick is due to join his wife, Carlita, and their three sons in Texas as early as today, his first stop was apparently at the home of his mother, U.S. Rep. Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick, D-Detroit. His sister, Ayanna, lives next door to the congresswoman’s home just west of the New Center.

Gary, a Florida lawyer whom the Miami Herald says has built a fortune by winning cases worth hundreds of millions of dollars, said he came to Detroit at Kilpatrick’s request. But he said he is still trying to determine if the ex-mayor has a case.

Gary declined to say which of Kilpatrick’s rights may have been violated. Gary was asked if he might sue SkyTel, the company that leased the city text messaging devices on which Kilpatrick and his former chief of staff and lover sent incriminating messages.

All he would say about potential targets was that he was concerned with Kilpatrick’s rights “during the case, the rights with all of the evidence, the rights with respect to just how certain matters were handled, how certain matters were dealt with in terms of and specifically in terms of some of the records that were out, that got out.”

The Free Press reported last year about text messages that showed Kilpatrick and his former chief of staff and lover, Christine Beatty, lied during a police whistle-blower case when they denied having an affair and trying to fire a deputy police chief investigating the mayor’s inner circle. The pair’s attempts to cover up the lies cost taxpayers more than $9 million and prompted the Wayne County prosecutor to file 15 felony charges against them.

Kilpatrick pleaded guilty to two felony perjury charges and no contest to a felony assault charge stemming from the case. He was sentenced to 120 days in jail and five years probation, ordered to pay $1 million in restitution, give up his law license, resign as mayor and agree not to run for public office for five years. Beatty later pleaded guilty to two felony perjury charges and is serving a 90-day sentence.

Kilpatrick served 99 days in jail after getting credit for a night he spent in jail on a bond violation and for good behavior.

“The mayor,” Gary started, correcting himself. “The former mayor. … He wishes the city well, all of the people well. … There are no hard feelings.”

revelation...........

now personally, i have been thrilled about the latest turn of events. But none of this "presidential-mania" has really hit me, until now. it is now that i turn on the television, and i see ALL this media........ALL these cameras.....ALL this attention surrounding ONE M.A.N. and his family, and i realize how much it ALL means.

as i sit down in front of this television watching this beautiful, historical, monumental moment in history unfold, i think of those before and how it might've felt to sit down in front of a television and watch a culutral icon give a speech that will change the WORLD, and go down in history.

i realize that back then, it was just ONE M.A.N. setting out to change the COURSE of america. Martin Luther King, J.R. was given a vision, a dream by none other than our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And thanks to Mr. King, and his obedience, we're able to see what that dream/vision was all about. Some say that THIS moment, THIS day IS the dream fulfilled within itselft. But NO!, THIS moment, THIS day, is the RESULT of a dream/vision fulfilled.

The dream that M.L.K., JR had was for equality. But what we have today ladies and gentleman is OH SOO MUCH MORE!!! Today is an EXAMPLE!!!, an example of what can come to past when YOU choose to follow a calling that was placed on your heart by God himself.

Martin Luther King, J.R. was the foundation, Barack Hussein Obama is just the beginnning. It is up to US as a people and NATION OF GOD's CHILDREN, to ensure that we continue this progress to see this holy land flourish as it should.
So today, enjoy, celebrate, be proud of this moment. But remember that it's not JUST about having an African-American president, it's about the manifestation of the plan that the Lord God has set out for this nation

ENJOY!!!

KANYE IS AS GOOD AS (IF NOT BETTER THAN) JAY-Z & LIL WAYNE
..........AND WANTS TO POSE NUDE IN THE FUTURE!!!

Kanye West has become a worldwide music icon by always telling us the naked truth as he sees it. In the February issue of Vibe — the only cover story he's done to promote 808s & Heartbreak — the Grammy winner contemplates baring even more than that.
"I made a decision. I wanna make popular music, but I want less fans," he told writer Sean Fennessey when asked if he was comfortable with fame. "I want the freedom of having less fans. It's like the freedom of having less money. If you have less money, you have less responsibility. It's like Björk. If she wanted to pose naked, you'd be like, 'Oh, that's Björk.' But if I wanted to pose naked, people would draw all type of things into it. I definitely feel like, in the next however many years, if I work out for two months, that I'll pose naked. I break every rule and mentality of hip-hop, of black culture, of American culture."
(Kanye had some things to say about his photo on the magazine's cover, too.)
Kanye clarified that by "less fans" he meant having a core of 20,000 devotees who understand him, rather than a swell of 100,000 "fly-by-night" followers who just favor him because he's the hot thing out.
West also gave his take on some of his peers, telling the publication that he refuses to say anything negative about fellow performers, but has no problem giving praise where it is due.
"I believe Beyoncé is the greatest performer of our generation," he offered. "I believe I am the greatest entertainer of this generation. I go neck-and-neck on Jay-Z and [Lil] Wayne as far as who's the best lyricist. Jay-Z has longevity."
MTV News' reigning Hottest MC in the Game also discussed his singing efforts on 808s & Heartbreak, calling the album his top project ever and the most resonate LP of 2008

momma wallace lookin' for ms. jones!!!!

source: ThatsHipHop.com

"Voletta Wallace, the mother of the late Notorious B-I-G, would like to chat with Lil’ Kim after seeing her son’s bio-pic, Notorious. Ms. Wallace is curious about the abuse Kim endured when she was with Biggie. She tells us, “[After watching the film], I saw the man, I saw the father, I saw the son, I saw the friend… But there are parts of that man that made me angry… Angry because I never saw that part of him. When he left my home, he had a life out there… When I saw [the film], there was a part of that man I want to slap. That young woman, I want to hug… I want to ask her tons of questions. I want to ask her why? Is this the truth?”

Notorious opens in theaters in less than a week."
